Handley-Walker Services Limited

After the acquisition of the registered Handley-Walker trade name Handley-Walker Services Ltd was launched in early 1999 by a group of Directors who had all been consultants with the original company. The aim is to build upon the original Handley-Walker skills and reputation with fresh ideas and vigour.

Having gained broader experience the Directors can now offer customers even more support to become successful. An impressive list of experienced consultants is available, covering a wide variety of skills. Projects can be undertaken individually or as part of a package, depending upon the client's needs. Management Consultancy News described us as "the famous Handley-Walker name..." - their words not ours!

We had a piece in the Guardian about the proper role and use of management consultants, and on the strength of that we were invited to write a defence of the consultancy industry in response to an anti-consultant article by Alan Sugar, which has resulted in more press coverage. When it was pointed out to the editor of one journal that she had edited out of the article what Handley-Walker does, her reaction was that she had thought that the name was so well known as a consultancy that she had not thought it necessary to spell it out.
